Is a permit required to teach children visual arts in my home?

zmneuro asked:

My wife is an artist and has years of experience in teaching visual arts in different media to elementary school age kids. But that was back in our native country. Currently we are permanent residents in the US. She wants to offer similar classes in our home; she used to have 3-4 kids in one class, two classes per week. I wonder if she needs some sort of permit etc. (we are in PA). Thanks for the input!

visual arts are having many branches like drawing, painting, sculpture, photography etc., which one you are referring to ? ok.. it is ok, if you are qualified to teach. It is only a private tuition. i hope no necessary for permit.
