    I’m not sure for high schools….. but for college I recommend Western Michigan University or Wayne State University. They have excellent Undergraduate Dance Programs.

    There are few high schools that specialize in dance as high schools tend to teach all subjects so students come out well rounded. If your high school does not have a dance team, you should start one! Get people interested and sign a petition and then take it up with the principal. As an urban dancer, you won’t be making much money. Unfortunately, the market is just not that great. However, if you join a troop of dancers and travel around performing, you can definitely be able to support yourself. Good luck!
