Coming from someone who is working to obtain a degree in art as well, I have no problem admitting that there are people out there that aren’t art majors in college that are amazing artists. Some people are naturally great artists no matter if they’ve gone to school for it or not. None of my tattoo artists went to college for art and they are all amazing. My first tattoo artist that did four of my tattoos learned from his dad who has owned a shop for many many years.

You might be better than some because of an art degree but maybe not. And tattooing is completely different than drawing.
