What is the format of the 2 film essays for the school of visual arts?

Im applying to the school of visual arts in NYC and im just having a bit of a hard time figuring out the format of the essay. Hopefully someone in the school can help me but all i do know is the first essay is just a short story 500 words or less (no problem) the second is the same as the first just using film terminology…. my problem with that is “does it have to look like a screenplay??” it says its not suppose to be a script or a screenplay so what exactly am i suppose to do…….. im so lost lol please help me !!!!
