Which school is better in the visual arts arena: UCLA or UCI?

UCLA is definitely much better for art than Irvine.
Also I think its just a better school overall, I would pick UCLA.
UCLA has better programs than Irvine and UCLA is more prestigious. You will get into a better grad school if you can maintain your grades at UCLA. However, UCLA has a bit of a larger students to teacher ratio compared to UCI.
I would pick UCLA mainly because of the location. Finding a job out there would be easier, and the social life will be more fulfilling than Irvine. Plus, (and don’t get me wrong I am Asian too) UCI is pretty much mini Asia. UCLA is not nearly as bad.
